IKON Financial Group, an Isle of Palms based mortgage and finance company, was recognized as the No. 2 ranked top performing small company ($10 million and under in revenues) in the state of South Carolina. The company was awarded at S.C. Biz News’ annual Roaring Twenties event held Oct. 24 in Columbia.

Chris Young, co-founder of IKON Financial Group commented, “We believe that by providing a solid platform where our loan originators can offer great products, the most competitive rates, with fast and easy service that everyone wins. This same recipe will allow us to attract new people that see several values offered by IKON.”

IKON Financial Group was founded by Jason Myers and Chris Young in 2008 and has since grown to a company of 29 affiliate offices, a call center, compliance department and a centralized processing team. Company sales for the year have already exceeded those of 2012 with loan volume over $350,000,000 and approximately 1,500 units per year.

“2013 has been a break-out year for us,” stated Jason Myers, co-founder of IKON Financial Group. “We appreciate all the hard work and dedication of our staff that made this growth and award possible.”

The annual Roaring Twenties event distinguishes the states’ best performing companies. Rankings are compiled by S.C. Biz News and are based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue over the past three years. IKON Financial Group placed second in the list of top 20 small companies in the state.
