The Mount Pleasant Holiday Farmers Market & Craft Show is the perfect place to find unique gifts and homemade goods on Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion at Moultrie Middle School on Coleman Boulevard.

This annual market offers a combination of locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, hot food and homemade preserves. Handcrafted gifts by locally recognized artisans will include Christmas ornaments, glass work, whimsical holiday crafts, clothing, jewelry and original art including unique woodwork, pottery, paintings and photographs.

“The Mount Pleasant Holiday Market & Craft Show provides the perfect opportunity for shoppers to purchase a wide variety of original pieces from talented local artists as well as many delicious food offerings,” said Market Manager Tracy Richter. “As always, admission and parking are free and we welcome all residents and visitors to this unique community event.”

Live entertainment will kindle the holiday spirit throughout the market. Both Cario and Moultrie Middle School Choruses will perform. The Handbell Chorus and violinists from Smalls Music Lab also will entertain shoppers, followed by summer-market favorite bluegrass band Sweetgrass.

A fun new addition this year, there also will be a photo booth stocked with holiday props for amusing family photos.

The Holiday Market is a “rain or shine” outdoor event. For more information, visit www.ComeOnOverMP.com or check www.facebook.com/MountPleasantFarmersMarket for frequent updates.
