Drug smuggling

  • Tuesday, December 10, 2013

A concerned citizen reported to police that a bar patron was selling drugs out of a local bar. The citizen said the man stashed the drugs in the bathroom.

Police arrived at the bar and questioned the man who said he had just been sitting there drinking.

The bartender told police the man came in but then left shortly thereafter. She said he later came back and had two beers. She never noticed if he entered the menís bathroom.

The officer searched the bathroom and did not find any drugs. But upon running the manís information, it turned out he was wanted by the police department for shoplifting.

He was subsequently arrested and searched. No drugs were found on his person either.
