Santa’s coming to Facetime

  • Friday, December 13, 2013

Teacups and Trucks, a mobile event planning company in Charleston, recently launched an event where Santa Claus calls children via iPhone which will provide an exciting, unique, and stress-free experience. The company’s overall goal is to amaze, excite, and reduce the amount of work for parents and families for any occasion.

Silvers is offering eight different sign up dates throughout the month of December. Available dates and times include: Dec. 4, 6-8 p.m.; Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Dec. 8, 5-7 p.m.; Dec. 11, 6-8 p.m.; Dec. 14, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Dec. 15, 6-8 p.m.; Dec. 18, 6-8 p.m.; Dec. 21, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Parents can send an email to kayla@teacupsandtrucks.com to book their personalized call.

“We’re very excited that we can offer such a thrilling experience for children at the comfort of their own home,” said Corrie Silvers, owner of Teacups and Trucks. “We are always trying to come up with different ideas to make kids feel special. Seeing the look on a child’s face after seeing Santa Claus calling them will be absolutely priceless.”

Consumers have many options when it comes to visits with Santa. Many of those options, however, can become repetitive and boring. With FaceTime, the experience is magical. Santa knows the name of the child, calls from the “North Pole”, and speaks with the child for no less than 5 minutes.

“We have been receiving such great feedback for this event,” said Silvers. “We are really looking forward to providing this extraordinary service and to give families the chance to make this holiday a memorable one.”
