Police were called to a local bar because a regular patron got drunk and caused a scene.
He made the mistake of throwing a drink at the bartender. This did not bode well, and the bartender called police. The bartender explained to officers that the patron had previously been barred from the establishment but recently had been allowed to come back in.
The bartender told policed that this man frequents all of the bars in the area and gave them a description of the car he was driving.
Sure enough, the officers found the car in a nearby shopping center. They waited near the car for the man and then after a while, one went inside a store that was close by to look for him.
After a short time, the officer returned to the car. At this point they heard yelling and sure enough, it was coming from the man in question who was being kicked out of a bar in the shopping center.
Because of his behavior that night and on previous nights, he was put on trespass notice from that bar as well as the one in which he threw a drink at the bartender.
It was determined the man was too drunk to drive so a cab was called for him. In addition, his license was found to be suspended.
He was told not to drive and he was taken away in a cab.
