Theatre Charleston celebrates with ‘Holiday Cabaret’

  • Friday, December 13, 2013

Theatre Charleston invites you to its upcoming Holiday Cabaret at The Footlight Players. Located in the heart of the French Quarter, this historic theatre will accommodate a sampling of the best singers and actors in Charleston. Local performers will join together in the holiday spirit. From classic carols to modern day Holiday favorites, Theatre Charleston’s Holiday Cabaret has it all in one terrific evening of entertainment. The show begins at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Theatre Charleston began offering “Cabaret Nights” last winter as a service to its members. They serve as venues for Theatre Charleston members, friends and patrons to share their many talents. “Theatre Charleston’s body of artists is continuously growing and our special events, such as this one, are a great way to spotlight new and familiar faces” says executive director, Emily Wilhoit.

The Dec. 14 Holiday Cabaret will feature some of Charleston’s favorite voices performing classic holiday songs and modern favorites. Set in the historic Footlight Players Theatre, the Holiday Cabaret begins at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 14. The late time slot allows patrons and artists to participate in one of the eight member theatre productions that evening and join for the Cabaret after.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at www.theatrecharleston.com, or at the door.
