Fourth Sunday on King Street this weekend

  • Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Sunday, Dec. 22 marks the first-ever Fourth Sunday on King Street, an identical extension of downtown Charleston’s ever-popular Second Sunday on King Street event.

The theme will be holiday shopping, family gatherings, food and music. There will be carolers in period costume, gift and shopping promotions and alfresco dining on the street.

Second Sunday on King Street is the premiere monthly event in historic downtown Charleston when locals and visitors are invited to shop, dine and enjoy Charleston’s “Main Street” on a vehicle-free, pedestrian-only afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m.

Guests may download free parking vouchers at www.2ndsundayonkingstreet.com for use in most City of Charleston Parking garages.
