Concerned neighbors

  • Monday, December 23, 2013

Neighbors in an apartment complex heard arguing and knew exactly where it was coming from, according to a report. They also knew that the male party of this couple had been drinking and often became violent when he drank.

They went to the apartment to check on the female and knocked on the door.

The boyfriend opened the door, stepped outside and shut the door behind him.

The neighbors then grabbed the boyfriend and pushed him back inside his apartment in an effort to look for the girlfriend to make sure she was okay.

The boyfriend naturally began throwing punches.

They eventually determined the girlfriend was not at the apartment and left.

The boyfriend overheard the two saying they were going to call police, so the boyfriend decided to beat them to the punch. He told police that he threw the punches in self defense and while the two did fight back, he said they did not fight back to their full potential.

After it was all said and done, the girlfriend came and got her belongings. The men all agreed not to press charges against each other.
