Lily Evans, a local Mount Pleasant resident, won the title and was crowned Miss Holiday Princess through a collaboration by Princess of Tides Boutique and Moments of Magic Travel. Lily rode in a specially decorated float in the Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade on Sunday Dec. 8.
Lily’s mother says that her daughter turned 5 on Dec. 15, making this a very magical birthday. Lily attends Lighthouse Church Preschool in Mount Pleasant and enjoys drawing, art, dance and gymnastics as well as playing with her brother, Charlie. Her favorite princesses are Ariel and Rapunzel- and she hoped to see them along with several other princess friends during the parade.
The float Lily rode in was designed through a collaboration of two local businesses: Moments of Magic Travel and Princess of Tides Boutique. Kerry Weismann, owner of Princess of Tides Boutique says: “Crowning Lily Evans as our float’s Miss Holiday 2013 Princess and having her join us in the Town of Mount Pleasant Parade is a fine example of what our partnership with Moments of Magic Travel is all about. Small local businesses pairing together to formulate those unforgettable childhood memories in a community that exults family activities.”
