About five years ago a man worked with narcotics detectives to identify a drug dealer and others involved in the illegal trade. It resulted in this drug dealer being identified and charged. He was sent to prison for five years to serve his time.
Well apparently that five years is up because the man got out of prison and just happened to run into the man who turned him in.
The newly-released convict got up in the informantís face and called him a rat.
The informant did not engage in the temptation to argue back or get involved in a physical altercation. Instead he left and drove himself to the police department where he reported the incident.
The lead detective on the five-year-old case was informed and able to identify the man they put away.
Detectives were informed about the incident and a report was made should anything come up again with the subject.
