A bartender called police because a bar patron was trying to leave in his car after being told and warned he was too drunk to drive. He took off out of the parking lot anyway, but police caught up to him shortly thereafter. His car was parked in a driveway of a home nearby.
The manís window was slightly down, and the officer approached. The man was asleep in the driverís seat.
The officer woke him up and told him to roll down the window. He fumbled around for a minute and finally found the button.
The officer asked him if he knew where he was and where he was coming from, and he just stared at the officer with a blank look.
The officer asked him for his license and he said he had one but could not find it in the car.
He was told to step out of the car to complete some field sobriety tests.
His masterís degree did him no good on the alphabet test and his balance failed him on the one-legged stand test.
The rest of the tasks he failed as well.
He was arrested and taken in for the Breathalyzer which he failed; blowing a .21 percent.
