There was a record catch recently.
Gerald Granier, a.k.a. “Jiggin’ Jerry,” of Round O caught a new Mount Pleasant Pier record Spotted Sea Trout on Jan. 2. The fish weighed in at 4 lbs., 9 oz. and was 24 in. long. Billy Bay artificial shrimp was the bait used.
