D.U.F.F. Training opens their doors and their hearts
D.U.F.F. Training will hold a FREE fitness grand opening and help children in needAndrew Duffy and D.U.F.F. (Duffy’s Ultimate Functional Fitness) Training would like to celebrate their grand opening by inviting everyone for a free day of fitness on Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Because sharing fitness with others is one of the fundamentals behind the D.U.F.F. brand, they felt it was imperative to partner with Pass It Forward Sports, a local organization that helps children and schools have access to fitness equipment. D.U.F.F.’s brand new 5,500 square foot facility, located at 539 Longpoint Road, Suite 201, will be a permanent donation site for Pass It Forward Sports.
The grand opening on Feb. 1 will allow anyone in the community from age 11 up to try hourly fitness classes for free. They will also be offering nutritional seminars, package give-a-ways, door prizes and membership discounts. “I want this day to inspire others in the community that, at any age or fitness level, they can get fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle…and have fun doing it!” said Andrew Duffy, owner.
D.U.F.F. Training provides a family fitness approach within their facility. They offer a unique Teen Duff class for children 11-16 years old while including classes that parents and grandparents can enjoy. “I started taking classes with Andrew and then my two children started taking the teen classes. Now my wife is also coming. It doesn’t take long to get hooked,” laughed Jeff Crosby, a current member who has lost 65 pounds.
