Sutton and Gregory join Carolina One

Lisa Sutton and Anna Gregory have recently joined the Mount Pleasant Coleman Boulevard office of Carolina One Real Estate.

Sutton graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with a degree in Economics. She also received a graduate certificate in real estate from the Georgia State University School of Business. Sutton has six years of real estate experience working for two high profile Atlanta-based real estate companies before moving to Charleston. Prior to that, Sutton worked for IBM, MCI and Bellsouth in sales and marketing. Sutton is married and she and husband David reside in Mount Pleasant.

Originally from Walterboro, Gregory graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with concentrations in Journalism, Mass Communications and Spanish. She worked as a dental sales representative with Philips Sonicare for seven years before being employed as an account director for FocusVision, a video streaming software and services company.

Sweetgrass Properties

Sweetgrass Properties is pleased to announce that John Woelfel, director of operations, has been promoted to president. Woelfel has been with Sweetgrass Properties since January 2008.

Sheryl Bidwell has joined Sweetgrass Properties as director of owner relations for the Isle of Palms division. Bidwell has over 27 years of property management experience in the Lowcountry. She is originally from Summerville.

Rosen Hagood

Rosen Hagood announced that Richard Rosen, H. Brewton Hagood, and Alice Paylor have all been chosen by their peers for inclusion in the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Attorneys from Rosen Hagood have been included in Best Lawyers every year since the inception of the publication in 1983.

Rosen, the managing member of Rosen Hagood, was selected as the Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiffs) Charleston Lawyer of the Year. He was also recognized for his work in commercial litigation, securities litigation, and trusts and estates litigation. He was president of the South Carolina Bar, is a permanent member of the 4th Circuit Judicial Conference and currently is the vice-chair of the Primerus Consumer Law Institute. Rosen holds the highest professional peer-reviewed rating (AV Preeminent) from Martindale-Hubbell and this is his 20th year of being included in Best Lawyers.

Hagood, who heads the construction practice group at Rosen Hagood, was selected as the Charleston Lawyer of the Year for the second consecutive year for Construction Litigation. He was also honored for his work in construction law and arbitration.
