Discussions regarding proposed infrastructure project to be held at Goodwin Elementary School on March 4,
Charleston County Government will host a community meeting to discuss the proposed infrastructure project for the Airport Connector Road. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Goodwin Elementary School, located at 5501 Dorchester Road in North Charleston.
The goal of the Airport Connector Road project will be to provide increased connectivity for local commuters as well as citizens and visitors traveling directly to and from the Charleston International Airport. Meetings with key stakeholders and the community will be crucial throughout the planning, design and permitting phases of the project.
This will be a Public Introduction meeting, which will present early planning information and goals of the project and offer opportunities for questions and comments. Throughout the planning process, there will be regular opportunities for community feedback via public meetings and the Airport Connector Road project website, http://acr.charlestoncounty.org. Timelines with project status, significant milestones and future public meetings will also be available on the site.
