Beer run

Police were called to a discount chain-store because someone was suspected of shoplifting.

The loss prevention officer told police that a suspect attempted to leave the store with 11 cases of beer that had not been paid for. The suspect was caught on video doing this, according to the police report.

The loss prevention officer confronted the suspect, who then took-off running through the parking lot towards a nearby gas station.

The beer was secured and returned to the store.

After reviewing the video, police were unable to identify the vehicle and the quality of the tape was not good enough to identify the suspect,
