About the Show:
“Once On This Island, Jr.” is a highly original theatrical adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's popular fairy tale, The Little Mermaid. Through almost nonstop song and dance, this poignant and heartwarming musical tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. When Daniel is returned to his people, Ti Moune is guided by the gods of earth, water and love in her quest to be with him.
About the Cast:
“Once On This Island, Jr.” features an allstar cast made up entirely of talented, Charleston-area children. The cast is comprised of kids from the ages of six to 15 years old who have spent months learning songs and creative choreography for this professional-level show!
