Wando lacrosse spent Sunday with more than 300 youth players at the MPRD free clinic. PROVIDED

Wando lacrosse and the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department teamed up to host a youth lacrosse clinic last weekend at Park West in Mount Pleasant.

More than 300 youth lacrosse players showed up for the free clinic Sunday. Wandoís boys and girls lacrosse teams spent two hours working with the young athletes, teaching them the same skills and techniques that have helped the Warriors become the premier prep lacrosse program in the state.

The clinic was part of Wando and MPRDís ongoing role model initiative that pairs Warriors athletes with Mount Pleasantís youth.
