A concerned citizen called police because a window of a house under construction had been shot out. He showed the responding officer the damage and explained that his wife had heard gunshots and they later found the damage.

The officer did not locate a bullet, but after examining the angle of the hole in the window it appears the round was fired from a long distance. The backyard of this home is connected to a river and beyond that a woodline. The officer concluded that the incident may have involved a hunter in the county's jurisdiction.
