USC star Connor Shaw at Towne Centre March 15

  • Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Eric Holzer, President of Palmetto Moon, announced today that former University of South Carolina football player Connor Shaw will meet with fans at Palmetto Moon in the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, located at 1632 Palmetto Grande Dr., on Saturday, March 15, from 1-4 p.m.

Presented by Bill Lorick Limited Editions, everyone is invited to meet the Gamecock’s “Most Valuable Player of 2014” and get his signature for just $20 or $25 for a signature with personalization.

The cost associated with Connor Shaw’s autograph is a direct fee from Connor Shaw’s agency. Palmetto Moon is not monetarily benefitting from this fee at all.

Palmetto Moon will bring in exclusive University of South Carolina footballs, jerseys, helmets, mini helmets, Connor Shaw prints, Williams-Brice stadium prints and much more for fans to purchase. Fans are also allowed to bring their own merchandise for Shaw to autograph.

“If you’re a Conner Shaw fan, now is the time to meet him,” said Holzer. “Majority of our customers are college football fans, so we are more than excited to provide them with this unique and special opportunity.”

From 2010-2013, Connor Shaw played as the starting quarterback of the University of South Carolina football team and has reached many milestones throughout his college football career.

He was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week four times, and he is the second player in USC history (joining Jeff Grantz) to pass for over 3,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards in a career. Shaw is also the Gamecock’s all-time leader in completions with 66.8%, and his 32 career touchdown passes ranks seventh in the school’s history while he holds the record for consecutive completions at 20.
