Free health event hosted by ECMC on March 15

East Cooper Medical Center (ECMC) is hosting a free health event on Saturday, March 15. Our “Shoot for Good Health” event will offer free health screenings and physician consultations such as cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure and fitness assessments. Take this opportunity to know your health stats and learn how to improve your score.


The event will take place from 9 a.m. – noon in the main lobby of the hospital. Learn more about East Cooper's Sports Medicine Program as you attend a free seminar entitled “Injury Prevention for the Everyday Athlete,” given by the Medical Director of East Cooper Sports Medicine, Dr. David Geier. The seminar will take place from 10–11 a.m. College of Charleston basketball players will also make a special appearance at this event.


There's no cost to attend, but please call or go online to reserve your space. Space is limited for health screenings. Refreshments will be served.


East Cooper Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is a 130-bed acute care hospital located at 2000 Hospital Dr. in Mount Pleasant.
