Two couples, who have a son in common, met one evening to discuss the son.
You see, the biological parents are divorced and married. But they have a civil relationship when it comes to raising their son.
However, this particular evening was far from civil, according to a police report.
Police were called to the biological momís house.
Her ex-husband arrived with his significant other, earlier that evening. They sat around the coffee table and the discussion of their sonís health insurance came up.
For some reason the biological father became agitated during the discussion and began to argue with the biological momís new husband.
The step-father slammed his hands on the coffee table in frustration. The biological dad then lunged at the step father, according to the report.
He began punching him in the face and threw him to the floor and was on top of him.
The biological fatherís significant other and he biological mom were able to pull the man off the step dad and kick him out of the house.
They called police right away.
A few minutes later the significant other called the biological mother for help. She said the biological dad had been so angry he dropped her off at a nearby gas station and left her there.
She somehow got a ride back to the residence and sat with the couple until police arrived.
The significant other did not want to get in the middle of it, but she already was. She admitted to what happened that evening and said the biological father had been irritated all day and probably should not have come over that night.
Police made numerous attempts to contact him, but he would not answer. They went to his residence etc. To no avail.
The significant other was told to have the man contact police as soon as she saw him.
Pictures of the step-dadís injuries were taken as evidence and the case was left active.
