Hearts for Abby Mac Fundraiser

Three Wando students, Kendall Pottieger, Annie Farley and Brenna Walsh, coordinated fellow DECA members and the entire student body to buy paper hearts and care bracelets to promote congenital heart disease awareness. Last Thursday they presented a check to MUSC children's hospital for $2,000 to purchase pediatric cardiology equipment and supplies. Pictured with the Wando students are cardiac unit nurses along with the Woodys and the Cornings, both families who have had babies born with congenital heart defects. PROVIDED
