The final event for the Mount Pleasant Junior Cotillion was held Tuesday, February 12 at the Snee Farm Country Club Ballroom. Fourth and fifth grade students showed their best social skills acquired during the past Junior Cotillion season. The parents both observed their children's progress and danced the Fox Trot and Charleston Shag at this memorable Valentine's Ball. Dance contests and fun competition delighted the children and their parents. Chaperones for the Valentine's Ball were Mr. and Mrs. Loren Ziff, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Strunk, Mr. and Mrs. George McLaughlin, Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Kennemer, Mrs. Travis Propes, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Daniel, Mr. and Mrs. Roddy Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Richard, and Lead Chaperone, Margaret Sembos.

The Junior Cotillion is a training for young people in the common courtesies of life. Students experience a curriculum filled with manners, etiquette, ethics and social dance.

Classes are already filling up for next season. Registration is made on a first-come, first-served basis.
