C4W is throwing a party to support women's equality. PROVIDED

If there's only one event you go to all year, make this THE event.

“Come Get the Message” will take place on Thursday, March 27, at Lighthouse on Shem Creek. The party lasts from 5-8 p.m. and boasts an open bar, appetizers and live music included in the price of the ticket, but this event is important to for many other reasons:

Women nationwide, but especially the Lowcountry, are still struggling for equality. It takes small steps to make a big change regarding this issue. You've already taken steps to shift women forward (you'll learn how at the event). The C4W is throwing this party to re-dedicate the organization and spread a message that you'll want to pass on to your friends, your grandmother, your mother and your daughters.

It's the perfect night to grab your girlfriends or spouse and learn about this re-dedication in a laid-back cocktail party atmosphere.

So come straight after work, bring your friends, and come get the message. It's a message you're sharing already; we just want to show you how to shout it loud and proud!

Tickets are $45 a piece. Purchase two tickets and get a discount. Grab your spouse, significant other, or a friend! This event is for women and men – because we are all in this together.

Visit www.c4women.org to purchase tickets or call 843-224-2610.
