Love Club – or is that Sully's Club?
I had a reader call me Wednesday, the second week the Love Club was promoted, and say we could use his name in our Love Club.
Jim and Linda Thompson donated $500 to our voluntary pay campaign. Jim called and said it was an easy check to write. “If Sully had a fan bus, I would be the driver! I love the Moultrie News,” he said. Thank you Jim and Linda!
Ginny and Dick Foreman wrote, “Hope the Love Club gets lots of members!” They also promised to send us a vacation photo.
Dianne Parker writes, “Love my Moultrie News!” The key to this is that Dianne referred to the paper as “my Moultrie News”. And it is her paper. When I talk to groups or organizations, I ask who do they think I work for? I get the usual Moultrie News, Evening Post Industries, but I work for the readers and this is your newspaper. And we love it when you call it your paper.
Phyllis F. Shaffer is at Franke Home and she writes, “Thank you for staying in print! Showing my love!”
Bill Walker writes, “What a cool idea!”
The Franke Chorus wrote that they are pleased to help the Moultrie News. “We thank you for printing announcements of our chorus and wish you well now and in the future.” Regards, Ed Smith, Friends of Franke Chorus and Anita O'Donnelly, director.
We love all the exclamation points and the outpouring of good wishes. And we love our Moultrie News readers.
