Angling Women is a company focused on educating women in the sport of fishing. PROVIDED

Angling Women is the name and introducing women to fishing is the game. A unique company that provides fishing instruction and aquatic education to women and their families, Angling Women is thrilled to announce their partnership with the international fishing tackle manufacturer, Pure Fishing. The sponsorship is focused on the Berkley, Pflueger and Shakespeare brand of products.

“We could not be more excited about our partnership with these world famous brands,” says BeBe Dalton Harrison, owner of Angling Women. “Their support and sponsorship will enable Angling Women to introduce even more women and families to the amazing sport of fishing and the wonders of the aquatic environment. We are so fortunate to be selected to partner with them.”

Harrison is an avid angler with a true commitment to teaching others. She grew up in Mount Pleasant, S.C. and has been fishing since she was old enough to hold a rod and reel. Her professional experience with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources along with her personal experiences have helped her to become a national award-winning aquatic educator. She began Angling Women in an effort to help introduce women and families to the joy of fishing in a low key and low stress atmosphere. “We all know someone that can teach us how to fish,” says Harrison, “but sometimes they are not the most patient or willing teacher.” Angling Women instructors are patient, knowledgeable and eager to share their passion for fishing. This diverse company can customize a program to fit your needs whether it is for a “Ladies Night Out,” a backyard birthday party, a visit to a school, or a large corporate event. They also donate time to the community with workshops for church and civic groups. With support from a company that has everything a person could dream of, for any type of fishing, Angling Women is prepared to provide instruction in any environment. They have a strong commitment to supporting local efforts to increase fishing participation and expect to be very busy with new classes in the coming months.
