Charleston Jazz Orchestra presents ‘Little Girl Blue’

Charleston Jazz Orchestra (CJO), Charleston's own resident big band, swings on in its 6th Anniversary Season on Saturday, March 22, presenting “Little Girl Blue,” paying homage to the “High Priestess of Soul,” the iconic Nina Simone, celebrating the voice of an era and one of the most prolific figures and women in jazz. CJO presents at the band's House of Swing, the Charleston Music Hall, downtown Charleston at 37 John St. Two sets will be performed, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., with no intermission. Adult tickets $30-$45. Senior tickets $25-$40. Seniors qualify at 65 years old. Student ticket rates vary. All student and discounted tickets must be purchased in person.
