Charleston Southern University School of Business hosts the 3rd Annual MBA Leadership Symposium on Thursday, March 27 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. in the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership (Room 102). The event is sponsored by Charleston Southern's MBA Society and ENACTUS.
The engagement is open to the public and will feature guest speakers Byron Davis, former CEO of Fisher Price Toys, Henry L. Taylor, who serves on the Board of Directors for the Merex Group and John Osborne, a Charleston Southern alumnus and entrepreneur. Osborne is the founder of www.fundingcharleston.com and co-founder of The Harbor Accelerator.
The three speakers will discuss how adversity shapes business leaders and prepares them for success.
“Anyone who has ever managed others knows that leadership is difficult,” said Dr. Darin Gerdes, Director of Graduate Programs in the School of Business at Charleston Southern University. “At the MBA Leadership symposium, you will hear from proven business leaders who will help you avoid the pitfalls that they have experienced. Come benefit from their experience.”
Guests are asked to RSVP before the end of business on Friday, March 21. Send your RSVP to Rachel Wagner in the School of Business at firstname.lastname@example.org.
