BE soccer downs Battery Creek for first region win

Bishop England boys soccer defeated Battery Creek, 1-0, Thursday at home for its first Region VI win of the season.

Sophomore Buist Kerrison provided the Bishops with the game's only goal off a free kick in the 25th minute. Sophomore Jake Michel picked up the shutout in goal with four saves.

Bishop England (3-4, 1-1) stays in-region Tuesday on the road against Burke.
