MPPD to host ‘Helping Seniors’ seminar

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is hosting a “Police Officers Helping Seniors” meeting on March 29 from 9-10:30 a.m. at The Palms, located at 937 Bowman Road, Mount Pleasant. This meeting is open to all senior citizens in Mount Pleasant and the topics of interest may include: Adult Protective Services, Alzheimer's, Assisted Living, Care-Givers Support, Dementia, Elderly Exploitation, Health Care Power of Attorney, Home Health Care Services, Independent Living, Living Wills and Testaments, Meals on Wheels, Phone Scams, Transportation Services, Unsafe Driving, Vulnerable Adult and Grief Support.
