Sara Williams PROVIDED

Sara Williams recently joined Sabal Homes, a locally owned and operated homebuilder, as marketing director. Sabal Homes continues to expand its team and was recently recognized as one of South Carolina's fastest growing businesses by the S.C. Biz Magazine and Charleston Regional Business Journal.

Williams oversees all digital, print and media marketing for Sabal Homes. In just three months, she has launched an online sales program, a new sales follow-up process and implemented a new customer relationship management (LASSO CRM) system for the company's sales team. She is also responsible for assisting homebuyers, clients and agents with their real estate needs in Sabal Homes' nine Lowcountry communities.

Williams has more than 10 years of marketing and sales experience and previously worked for Heartland Homes, the custom homebuilding market leader in Pittsburgh, that tripled its growth during her tenure. As a senior new home consultant and internet lead specialist, Williams oversaw the new home and internet lead specialist teams while creating follow-up sales processes and marketing campaigns. Williams has received many marketing-related awards throughout her career including the National Association of Home Builders National Sales and Marketing Council Gold Award for Online Sales Counselor in 2013.

“We're thrilled to have Sara's marketing and sales expertise on our team as we continue to expand throughout the Lowcountry,” says Jason Simpson, co-owner of Sabal Homes. “With her unique ideas and successful lead follow-up processes, we hope to significantly improve our company's overall footprint throughout the Lowcountry.”

“During the recruitment process with Sabal Homes, I immediately fell in love with the Lowcountry,” says Williams. “To be able to bring my experience with a national homebuilder to the Charleston market was an opportunity that I didn't want to pass up both personally and professionally.”

“Sabal Homes already has such a strong reputation in this market,” continues Williams. “I'm honored to be able to take my experience to help the company grow and to work with such a great team of dedicated people.”

Williams earned her bachelor's degree in communications media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She resides in West Ashley and enjoys paddle boarding, yoga, reading and spending time with her husband and son.
