Due to the high probability of severe thunderstorms this weekend, the 24th Annual Folly Beach Sea & Sand Festival & Fundraiser has been postponed to the weekend of April 11-13.

The projected schedule of events will remain the same.

This annual event is Folly Beach's longest-running, largest and most family-friendly festival and fundraiser. The pageant will take place at Folly River Park from 7 - 9 p.m. The festival continues on Saturday with the ESA Tides Kickoff Classic Surf Competition and the Coffin Island 5k. Then the street party begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will feature local food and art vendors, a silent auction, live music, jump castles, face painting, special celebrity guest Reggie Kelly and so much more. Musical performances include: Rollin' in the Hay, Weigh Station, Guilt Ridden Troubadour, 54 Bicycles, Rusty Hook and more. Sunday, March 30 concludes the Sea & Sand Festival with the finals of the ESA Tides Kickoff Classic Surf Competition, the annual Sand Sculpting Contest and East Coast Party Band finale concert.
