Vandalism - Weekend Blotter

  • Sunday, March 30, 2014

Police were called to a woman’s condo because someone had kicked down her back gate, entered through her back door and smashed things all over the house, according to the incident report.

She said her first child got home after school from the bus and saw all the damage that had been done. The refrigerator door had been left open and condiments had been smashed and broken on the floor.

A flower pot had been smashed as well as picture frames, the report said.

An aluminum bat that did not belong to the kids had been left behind. Screens from windows around the house had been removed and damaged as well.

The officer dusted the house and was able to lift one print.

The bat was taken in to be dusted and placed into evidence.

The mother could not think of any enemies of hers or her children who would do such a thing.
