Artists and art lovers will descend on Lake City, S.C. once again April 25 - May 4 for the second annual ArtFields, a celebration of Southeastern art.
Plus, there are 13 East Cooper-area artists (eight from Mount Pleasant, three from McClellanville, two from Isle of Palms) competing for $100,000 in cash prizes who need the public's votes during ArtFields.
The main feature of this 10-day event is an art competition with 400-plus pieces of art from artists in 12 Southeastern states. This family-friendly festival offers something for all ages, including: art workshops, public art, a portrait contest, food events, concerts and more. Most activities are free and ticketed events start at $15. Check out www.artfieldssc.org for more information.
