Doesn’t want to go - Weekend Blotter

  • Saturday, April 5, 2014

A couple was driving home when the female, who was driving, decided to make a quick detour to see a friend. The husband did not want to do this and an argument ensued. They yelled and screamed at each other, but according to a police report, all the while the wife kept driving towards the friendís house.

The husband then allegedly reached over and grabbed the shifter, trying to put the car in neutral.

This scared the female, she said to police, so she hauled off and hit her husband across the face, busting his lip.

The husband called police while they were still in the car together, but the wife stopped the vehicle and got out and started walking, the report said.

Police were able to catch up with her and she seemed upset and out of breath.

Once officers calmed her down, she said she was fine and that her husband had only grabbed her wrist.

The husband told police that he wanted to press charges, and with that the woman was taken to jail for criminal domestic violence.
