The Preaching Horse


What: Lunch at High Noon

When: Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Six Mile Christian Center, 1219 Six Mile Road, Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Details: The Preaching Horse, who is a real live equine, came into the sanctuary to deliver his message last year.

He and his trainer deliver and act out the Easter story, complete with crown of thorns, taking on sin, dying, buried with shroud, and resurrection.

There is no cost or tickets to buy.

Donations are welcomed for those who are so moved.

Centura College Hosts Career Fair

When: Wednesday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: 8084 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston

Details: The local employers attending lend guidance about employer expectations and potential employment opportunities for students, graduates and the public. The list of employers currently scheduled includes Kangaroo Express, TD Bank, TGI Friday's, Rent-a-Center, Wells Fargo and Corporate Cycle Consulting, LLC. Additional employers are still making arrangements to attend.

STAMP COLLECTORS
