Cario students raised $2,000 for a local Make-a-Wish child. PROVIDED

Mr. Bryan Coleman's seventh-grade class at Cario Middle School, in addition to some select Cario sixth- and eighth-graders who are part of Cario's Leadership IS initiative, raised $2,000 to make a Lowcountry student's dream come true. This group, led by students Grace Fellows, Emily McCants, Lily Heinhold and Emma Hadden, ran the ”King and Queen of Hearts” fundraiser to send a Summerville eight-year-old to Disney World through the Make-a-Wish foundation. Philanthropy thrives at Cario!
