Governor’s proclamation to recognize Boone Hall Plantation and Strawberry Festival Thursday

A proclamation from South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley recognizing Boone Hall Plantation and The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival will be presented at an opening ceremony for the festival this Thursday, April 10 at 3 p.m.. South Carolina Department of Agriculture Commissioner Hugh Weathers will be on hand to present the proclamation and to take part in the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting. Also participating will be Mt. Pleasant Mayor Linda Page and the Wando High School Band. This ceremony will take place in front of the admission area for the festival located 1/2 mile north of Long Point Road on Hwy. 17 in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Dates and hours:

Opening Night Thursday April 10 - 6 -10 p.m. - Student Night

Friday April 11 - 4 -11 p.m.

Saturday April 12 - 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Sunday April 13 - Noon - 7 p.m.


$5 - ages 12 and up

$3 - ages 3-11

Ages 2 and under are admitted free with accompanying adult
