Hundreds of thousands come to the Lowcountry in search of delicious seafood, historical adventures and everything in between. But how do they know where to go?

By using a newly released app, developed by Sullivan's Island native James Dingle.

The CityGab app is now available in the Apple iTunes App Store and Google Play App Market with some really cool features to keep you in the know with all things Charleston and the world.

“The CityGab app is the only app you need when visiting Charleston,” said Dingle.

“With the CityGab app, you can get audible reviews about all the local destinations such as restaurants, shopping, attractions, etc. Those that visit Charleston, and especially the locals, can leave their responses using our easy-to-use voice response system, explaining their experience with the destination. You get to hear firsthand from those that have visited.”

Dingle described it as taking viewer comments and review to the next level.

With the CityGab app, you can:

– Leave a voice response about your experience

– View a map with all the locations, including turn-by-turn directions

– View the top ten things to do in Charleston

– Hear reviews

– Speak a review

– Watch local videos

– Get daily deals and discounts

Visit www.citygab.mobi to download the app. This app is free.

Dingle, also a real estate agent, expects to include other cities in the future.

Once it was created, he had friends test it. The app was of course tweaked until he was pleased with it.
