In a statement sent out by the Mount Pleasant Police Department, on April 13 a burglary occurred on Cliffwood Drive and the possible suspects were seen driving a Budget rental truck. They are described as two white males around 30 years of age.

A couple of days prior to the burglary, a Budget rental truck was stolen from Rivers Ave. in North Charleston, according to Inspector Chip Googe, Public Information Officer/Accreditation Manager, Mount Pleasant Police Department.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is seeking help in identifying the subject that appears in the video during the larceny of the truck. Based on the location of the truck's theft, and its return to the nearby area, the suspect may reside or frequent the general area of Rivers Ave. and Aviation Ave. or the Remount Road area, Googe said. The Budget truck has an Oklahoma license plate of 2LX739.

If you are able to identify this subject, please contact Detective Lapp at 843-856-3029 with any information.
