As part of the East Cooper community, Moultrie News wants our readers to know our staff. Each week, we'll be posting a brief Q and A with a staff member.
This week: Dustin Waters
Q: When did you join the Moultrie News team?
A: I am nearing my three month anniversary with the Moultrie News.
Q: What is your role on the Moultrie News team?
A: I am the Copy editor (I edit all the articles for proper AP format, style and grammatical correctness). It is thrilling and everyone should rear their children to edit copy. I am also a feature reporter.
Q: Prior to joining Moultrie News, what were you up to?
A: Before moving to Charleston, I lived in Binghamton, N.Y. for about four years. I moved there after graduating from Presbyterian College in 2009, receiving a bachelor's degree in English.
Q: What do you want Moultrie News fans to know about you?
A: I am completely incapable of riding a bicycle. I never learned and at this point it is too late. In college, I played bass in a band called “Bananaconda.” We were great/terrible.
