Disaster Expo set for May

The City of Isle of Palms and Town of Sullivan's Island will host a Disaster Preparedness Expo Wednesday, May 21 at 5 p.m. in the Isle of Palms Public Safety Building.

The event is organized to educate residents, visitors and businesses on how to prepare for and recover from natural disasters, including hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and floods.

Participants will be able to display products and services inside and outside of the Public Safety Building at no charge. Six-foot display tables and chairs will also be provided per request.
