The Franke Chorus will present its seventh annual spring concert twice this May on Friday, May 2, at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, May 4 at 3 p.m. Both concerts are free of charge and are open to the general public. The concerts will be held in the Rodenberg Hall on the campus of Franke at Seaside in Mount Pleasant.
According to Director Anita O'Donnell, the program will include mostly light and familiar music like “Blowin' In the Wind,” “It Had to Be You,” “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” and patriotic songs such as “God Bless America.”
The chorus presents two annual concerts each year. The chorus is composed of about 40 singers and musicians and is accompanied by Carol Peecksen. The chorus provides an opportunity for persons, both Franke at Seaside residents and non-residents, to participate in a choral group that sings in four-part harmony and does it for the joy of singing.
Light refreshments will be served after each concert.
