Old Village Spring Block Party May 3

Mark your calendars. A community block party will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 2-5 p.m. for residents and neighbors of the Old Village. The event will be coordinated by Jackie Kelly with The Village Connection and hosted by The Cassina Group.

“We are so excited to be hosting this event again this spring,” said event organizer Jackie Kelly.

“It will be an exciting day and a great way to connect the village.”

Geared toward people of all ages, this Old Village community event is sure to be fun-filled with plenty to see and do.

Local artists and businesses will be on hand to sell their wares and there will be plenty of food and drinks. Activities for the kids will include face painting, raffles, games and even a dunk tank — so come on out Old Village, here is your chance to dunk the I'On Group's own Vince Graham from 4-4:30 p.m.

The event will take place on Hibben Street, from Coleman Boulevard to Whilden Street.

There will also be a musical performance by Edward Orr.
