Party at the Point kicks off summer series

  • Thursday, May 1, 2014

Charleston's premier happy hour concert series, Party at the Point, is back for its 14th season.

“We remember when we first started Party at the Point and cannot believe it has been 14 years,” says Rob Lamble, founder of Ear for Music. “This event has been a lot of fun and has grown over the last few years. The biggest growth for Party at the Point is it will now be a twice a year concert series, one in the summer and one in the fall.”

The summer concert series kicked off on Friday, April 25 with The Dave Matthews Tribute Band. The weekly event takes place every Friday afternoon from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the beautiful Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on Patriot's Point and features a full cash bar, including $3 draft beer while it lasts.

The 2014 summer series will run Friday, April 25 through Friday, June 27.

Tickets are available at the gate and cost between $5-$7 per show. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and bands start at 6:30 p.m. There is plenty of free parking on the street or valet parking for $5.
