East Cooper Meals on Wheels receives after-hours drop boxes

Scouts from Troop 20 under the direction of Life Scout Ross Cary have constructed after-hours/weekend drop boxes for East Cooper Meals on Wheels.

“We were excited to provide these drop boxes along with can goods donated by Wando High School Student Council,” said Cary.

East Cooper Meals on Wheels expects to deliver more than 135,000 meals this year to mostly elderly residents of Mount Pleasant and surrounding areas. Donations of human and pet foods can be made at Meals on Wheels located at 2304 Highway 17 N in Mount Pleasant.
