Wonder Works headquarters PROVIDED

Christine Osborne, owner of Wonder Works with stores in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, downtown Charleston and on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, is pleased to announce that the company has opened a corporate headquarters located at 429 A-B La Mesa Road in Mount Pleasant.

Located off of Long Point Road, the 5,000-square-foot space serves as the company’s first central distribution center for all four stores, a warehouse and corporate offices. During this expansion, Wonder Works received the “2013 Excellence Award” from ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailing Association). Among thousands of ASTRA members, Wonder Works was one of two retailers to receive this national distinction that is only awarded once a year. A statement from ASTRA reads, “Wonder Works has exceeded excellence with their enthusiastic staff and support of their local community.”

Osborne said, “From opening our corporate headquarters to receiving this national award, there is so much magic in the air at Wonder Works, and we have the community to thank for it! Our incredible customers, ‘wonderfuntastical’ staff and community members enable Wonder Works to grow and be recognized for the magic that happens in our amazing city.”

Wonder Works Corporate Headquarters is now operating and holds thousands of items in its warehouse including the nation’s top toys, gifts, books and locally made products from adult and child entrepreneurs. Osborne and her business staff of nine are now located in the office space adjacent to the warehouse.

“Having this new corporate headquarters will enable us to better serve our customers with the toys and gifts they love. With thousands of toys being moved from store to store daily, we needed a place where we could receive and distribute inventory efficiently throughout the company. Now we can easily track the items that are selling and keep our shelves stocked with the hottest toys,” added Osborne.
