Weekend Blotter – Where are all the honest people?

  • Tuesday, May 27, 2014

According to a report, a woman went to a local store to make a purchase and when she was done checking out, she accidently left her wallet on the checkout counter. She noticed the missing wallet when she got to her vehicle and immediately went back to the store.

She asked the cashier if she had seen the wallet, and according to a police report, the cashier told her she gave it to another customer thinking it belonged to them.

Loss prevention officers were notified and they began the process of pulling the surveillance video.

The victim deactivated all of her cards and gave police a description of the wallet and its contents should it be recovered or a suspect found.
