Weekend Blotter – Out of nowhere

  • Tuesday, May 27, 2014

Some poor woman in IOn went outside to look for her cat, when out of nowhere, a person allegedly came up from behind and pushed her down, a police report said.

According to the report, this caused the woman to injure her cheek, her right elbow and her knee when she hit the sidewalk. She told police she remembered hearing footsteps as they ran away, but she never saw her attacker.

Police canvassed the area with no results. She had visible injuries which were photographed for evidence. She chose not to have EMS called, but police continued their efforts to find a possible suspect.
